Man jumps ship of Scarborough
We were involved in rather unusual rescue yesterday.

We received a call that a vessel had a person onboard that was in shock, not moving or talking. Position was 6nm West of Scarborough.
We left Ocean Reef Marina at speed and arrived on secene within 10 minutes. When we arrive found a vessel had picked up 2 crew from a nearby cargo ship that had jumped it the water. The second man had jumped in the save the first man.
Attempts were made to transfer him to our vessel but he would not move. After speaking the the captain of the cargo ship we escorted the other boat back to Hillarys where ambulance and police were waiting.
Apart from that a busy weekend with capsize Saturday and numerous vessel needing our assistance to get back to shore. Given the heat on land was not a bad place to be on the water once the wind changed direction.
Expected it to be a lot busier but I think most decided it was better in air con that out in 44 & 41 degrees

Busy busy
Not good that you are busy down that way, should be the opposite like we are having up here. 1 tow in from the Lady Joyce wreck about 3 weeks back and nothing for 2 months before then.
Still we don't have anywhere near the numbers that venture out even in our busy season.

Good to see people lending a hand, gave a bloke test driveing his new/very old boat couple weeks back a tow. Can never be too careful of Karma lol! Helped a Bloke n his family out on the beach the other day too, it's amazing what correct tyre pressure can do !! Mate told us a yarn bout another guy n his missus bogged few days ago he went home n got a snatch strap took a n hour in the mean time three other people drove past laughing !!! Hope they get stuck one day !!
