Mandurah boat storage help please
Hey Folks,
I am shifting from Tasmania to the Mandurah area real soon and hopeing for some advice on both short and medium term boat starage options. I will be landing there early December and hoping to find a rental property in the area that will accomodate my 6.7m barcrusher. I really dont want to leave her out on the street! However, from the internet searching I have done thus far this may proove difficult, so I would like to come over first and scout out the area before committing to a rental property over the internet.
Can any one please offer any suggestions on the following?
Option 1 - short term storage whilst I find a suitable rental.
Option 2 - In the event I fail to find a suitable rental then what are the best options for medium term storage...say 6 months??
Many thanks in advance, I have tried searching the net and found a few options but none stand out and time is against me as I am smack bang in the middle of packing for the move.... All advice will most appreciated..

Hi DanYou can join the
Hi Dan
You can join the mandurah off shore fishing and sailing club and then it can be left in there yard. Memberships arnt what i call cheap but its a great club house and they hold fishing comps and so on. Im not a member as i dont think i will get my moneys worth out of it but know many people who are.
If you get stuck for a short term solution i live in pinjarra 20 mins from mandurah and have room to park it in the yard next to mine and have 2 big dogs that are good guard dogs but it wouldnt be under cover options there if you get stuck.
If you need any other help just ask im always willing to help out fellow fishwrecked members. As long as you dont ask for gps coordinates its all good but i can steer you in the right direction once your over this way.
Cheers

Boat storage
Hey mate. If you get stuck. I own a landscape supply business in Mandurah that you can leave it for a week or two. Only problem is that it'll get a bit dirty. Give us a buzz if you interested (08)9581 7570

Transporting boat to Mandurah
Are you towing your boat here to Perth yourself or are you using a freight transport company? If interested, I'm getting a BarCrusher 670HT over from Devonport to Perth for around $3800. Next closest quotes were around $6000. Contact me if you want details. Good luck with the move

Hey mate, Yes I am planning
Hey mate, Yes I am planning to tow. $3800 is a great price and has me re-thinking if it's worth the effort to drag it myself.
I will have a think and message you if I change my mind.
Thanks,
Dan

Down at the port Bouvard
Down at the port Bouvard marina they have a hard stand down there as well. I'm looking at putting my boat there for chrissy so I will look at getting some prices to store it there. I just wouldn't leave any electronics or any thing ov value in it
