Mandurah estuary wind conditions for crabbing

Hi all , Im keen on scooping for crabs at night in the estuary
Does any one know what winds are most favourable and those that are not.
As I have tried in the past and when the wind picks up not sure of direction you cant see the crabs due to the wind on the water.

Hot summer nites
no not the 70,s disco hit, although I think I can still hum it, but hot , hot days followed by
still humid nites , are the best go.( think 2 x 40 degree days)
We go to the east side of the harvey , so east winds are best for us, as its only just coming off the land.
For most whom crab on the west side of harvey or peel est you want light south or west winds ( not easy sometimes)
and the closer to the cut or channels you are , you want low tidal movement, and the top of the tide seems to work best for scooping anyway.
Went last year near harvey inlet on said, still nite , just opened the car door , and the hum of mozzies was deafening, slowly closed door and went past
red rooster on way home hahaha.
