mandurah offshore fishing

im heading to mandurah for the weekend with the boat. im wondering how far you need to go out to get dhuies, snapper or sambos and what baitis most affective

Ive only fished down that way
Ive only fished down that way once before, had no luck out deep (couldnt find any good bottom) then on the way back in decided to try my luck near some craypot floats just out from dawesville cut. Ended up catching a small dhufish about 60cm using a whole squid as bait. My mate caught/released a few undersize pinkies from the same spot and also caught a few decent kg whiting there. I'm heading down on sunday for another go. Best of luck

yeh thats when were gonna go out in the boat were thinking of going to the five fathom bank is that any good from off mandurah?

nah 9-18 knots isnt that bad
nah 9-18 knots isnt that bad its still fishable whereas i wouldnt go out in 25 knot winds
