Mandurah Snapper n crays
Submitted by MandurahMatt on Tue, 2014-02-25 19:38
FFB Dawsvile produced another snapper on plastics early this morning, 56cm.
Few crays about too. Interesting to see a pro boat working in the area also, day before I went out north end of town, pro boat was working pots along inside edge of Murray reef near the cardinal marker too.

Nice
Definitely can't complain about that. Top result.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.

How far out is the fab from dawesville
Wouldn't mind checking it tomorrow on the jetski. If to far out was going to have a fish around the 3 sisters in Rockingham

Yes it definately looks as
Yes it definately looks as though the crays are back. My son and I catch BIG Sambos on Sunday just on the bottome of the James Service. The water was 8mtrs and crystal clear. You could watch them grabbing the baits and running. Good fun.
BUT not one bite on the plastics. I reckon you blokes are having a lend of me????

FFB is only about 2nms off
FFB is only about 2nms off dawesville cut. Get a chart and you can see FFb getting closer and closer to land until it ends just south of Dawesville

Hi anyfish, I worked James
Hi anyfish, I worked James service/Murray reef early in the season and got nothing I've dive been doing ok out from Dawsvile on FFB. But as I said in this post I saw that the a pro boat had set a long string along the inside edge of James service/Murray reef so defiantly worth a go now maybe! Let us know how you go if you do set there.

yeah cheers mandurahmatt... I went out thismorning after nighshift and I set my pots on james service... I put one pot 50m north of the marker and in towards the reef a bit where the ground first picks up, placed the second pot east of the marker between the two lumps on a sandy patch, im pulling them today after work so ill let u know how I go... I wont get out there till 9am so hoping the pots stay in the water until I get there.... packed the potds with fresh left over mullet from Wednesday just gone
