Thanks for the feedback about Xmas lights and all the other shit about headlights....must have had my idiot hat on and asked for someone to state the obvious. Cheers
from what i have seen in the past the canals south of the old bridge put on a good show. havnt been out on the water to see them but from the road they look great.
We've used the waterside boat ramp, but getting out can sometimes take a while.
the canal residents do a great job of embracing the Xmas spirit, and the kids love it
I do find though that driving the boat around at nighttime when things get backed up can get stressful quite quickly, as some people driving boats are not used to being so close to others....and sometimes people will unexpectedly stop at a particular house causing a traffic jam

Not there marina
We could not get out of the marina until nealry midnight.
PS Turn your headlights off when you back the trailer in, the guy on the other side of the finger jetty will be able to see that way.

Yep, not too many people think about the headlights until they're trying to back down and someone is pointing the sun at them.

We went last night. Good
We went last night. Good luck to anyone who gets back to the ramp after 9 as the queue was growing.
Lots of boats and lots of crabs but very few morons which was nice.
