Marine radio channel advice

hey guys got the new boat ready for sunday I havnt had a boat with radio in it I have a booklet with emergency channels on it but what's the best genral channel to have it on during the day :)

88 for 27mhz or 16 if its
88 for 27mhz or 16 if its a VHF radio
Keep it on these channels while you're out on the water.
They're a calling and emergency channel - not for general chatter
Check the RST workbook for the proper protocols of use =)
