Marlin

Since leaving Coral Bay on 18 October, for Exmouth to start charters to the Montebello Islands, punters on the Mahi Mahi 11 have raised 16 marlin,

tagged and released 11 of them,  and at least 6 of them have been over 200k.

I'd heard your last few months have been going off. Do you push out wide on the way to the Monties or just head out deep once there? Also, what lb leader do you run for the bigger fish when towing lures?

Do some fishing going over,  stay around Long Island the first night,  then pick a good day and head out wide,  some times stay out overnight.  Had a big one up last week, reckon it was around 310kg.
