Marron Around Albany???

hey guys just wondering if anyone knows of any river/streams around albany that hold marron because we are gonna be down there during the marron season and have not marroned the area before and do not know if they are that far down but they should be we are gonna be staying at kalgan river there may possibly be marron in the upper reaches if this river...
any info will be helpfull thanks!

Definately get them that far down but I'm not exactly sure where the best places are, i've only been once down that way and can't even remember where it was.. haha.. we got a few nice ones tho!

marron around albany
there are quite a few places not too far from albany where in the past there were marron, Moats lagoon (spelling) out near two peoples bay was a favorite spot for many year however it is now closed. furthur east towards Cheyes beach (off the road in) is Wychinicup (spelling). In years past I have caught some great marron in the many pools on the river, and if there are none around you can always go a little further along the road for a good fish of the rocks.
