There have been over 6,000 earthquakes in the south west since the 1960's...fortunately you never notice most of them and Perth is just outside the main area. Apparently there is a fault line that runs close to Perth but has not gone off for donkeys but if it did, Perth would be obliterated. It's one of the longest fault lines in the world.
My apartment building started shaking a bit, and then a bit more. Not a real good feeling when you're 18 storeys up. I heard 5.2 as well, in Moe, Which is SE of Melbourne.
Had to have a laugh this morning on Sunrise as they reported from the "tremor zone" as the cleaned up the destruction of the earthquake....... They kept showing pictures of a few books that had fallen off the shelf, a mannequin that had fallen over in a shop and a crack in a building........ Glad everyone is safe over there though.
Hear they are predicting heavy rainfall over Perth late Saturday and early Sunday from all the tears that will be shed from the Weegirls getting flogged at the home of football by the MIGHTY MAGPIES!!!
Hasn't stopped pissing down here all day. I had set aside the day to clean the pool and prune the roses before I go into hospital but so far I have acheived nothing other than to watch a movie. I may need to resort to a beer soon if things stay like this.
I'm under the knife Friday arvo so hopefully I will be awake and able to watch the Eagles flog the pies on Saturday. I will be on morphine so I won't be feeling any pain. Not like some at the MCG....
Having a hip replaced which is long overdue and going to get me back in action soon. Seriously, the climb up the stand at Subi is becoming too hard. Working the beaches and retrieving Toyo and Nissan vehicles is also a bit of a hard task at the moment. Look out guys... when you see the white Disco arriving you know you are safe . *pause* if you have money or beer. I don't do drugs LOL.

Since it is in Perth Carnarvon
it might be the Copycat Dockers following their flogging by the Dons.
