Metro Beach Fishing

I know there are most probs heaps of info on this , but mainly been sticking to the beaches in rockingham with limited success , just curious if anyone could help me with some info on some other metro beach spots around perth which are decent for some fish , not nessacerily interested in getting a feed, just catching some tailor, snapper, herring , etc, and putting them back would be fine.just weather aint to flash atm, want to feel a decent fish on the end of my rod atm. ThANKS much appreciated guys

I always did pretty well
I always did pretty well around point peron, port kenedy and warnbro areas, fair few tailor around there and got some really good thumpers around 50cm one year. Plenty of whiting down your way too!

near the point peron boat
near the point peron boat ramp is good at night for heaps of herring and the odd tailor. set up a big burley trail and fish that.

That's a good spot for big tailor at this time of the year
You could also try Grant Street in Cottesloe, Swanbourne Drain (a bit of a walk but usually produces good fish), the City Beach Groyne should start producing soon when the swell settles down and Floreat Drain are all good spots to try.

yeh i want some decent
yeh i want some decent stuff aye , ha , bigger then a herring an a tailor , i eat herrng , but aint really a fan of tailor , cept for making fish patties haha, like the old man has a boat but i like to go down with the boys n fish sometimes , dream is to catch a mulloway or decent size snapper from the beach or rocks :)
