Metro deep sea fishing?

G’day over the next month or so when we get some good weather and I am off work, we are planning to target some of these deep sea fish off the shelf can you guys give us some tips please so we have a fighting chance of pulling in a fish or 2 deep sea metro.

Ruby Snapper
Blue Eye Trevalla
Bass Groper
Hapuku
Grey Band
Tips
Depth:
Bait:
Season:
Rig Setup:

Its really location,
Its really location, location, location for those boys.
GB as shallow as 100m, never seens a BG come up in less than 250m, although it is possible. Puka a little in between ;)
Deeper for Trevala, but less than 500m would be usual.
Bait: same bait for any, whole herring on circles ... or jigs!
You're not fishing out of Perth though, are you?

A good sounder is the key!!! You can put any bait in front of them an they will swallow it. It's just finding them an getting your bait there
