And the assist hooks all appear to be attached at the bottom of the jigs rather than the top.  Seems to be working.  Well done that man!

Cheers for the comments guys, all fish were caught of Rocko. The jig was bought from the guys at compleat on Dixon rd.  Not a word of English on the box...the Japanese know how to make them

Now her's a question on jigs

Sat, 2017-12-23 19:01

First off I must state that I have not done a lot of jigging nor do I own a lot jigs, I only have 2 in fact.

Now the question and your reasons for your answer would be appreciated.

All the jigs I have seen in shops or being used have the hooks attached to the top ring on the jig.

Why...

Thanks for your answers

Asked that same question myself Meglodon

It’s less chance of snagging the bottom with the hooks on top.

Certainly lost my bottom rigged ones quicker than the top rigged in my limited experience with jigs.
