Mertro Mac's!
This is my favourite time Russ for metro mackies. Fish at the back of Marmion reef/3 mile etc are 6-10kg and some bigger ones. The West End of Rotto fish from 15-30kg have been caught and normally i'm into them by now but having fun with deepwater fish of late!

I enjoy the fishing diversity mate and when the bug bites i put in the effort. I'll get out soon for a mac attack.....certainly a buzz getting a local mac!

back of three mile is currently covered in coral spawn and weed
but there has been some good fish around....water has got colder now though....the back of three mile down to Hale road has fair bit of weed as well as the orange slicks....brought in with the rough weather
lots of bait schools out there ....some are big blue macks...
good luck
