Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a feed of squid from a boat out from mindarie. I’ve moved from sor to nor last year so any tips would be appreciated.

North or South
Hi Pirate
My boat will be in the Mindarie Marina for a month. Can I ask if the weed banks you mention are North or South out of the Marina
Cheers
Eric

Thanks for that
Thanks for that, water seems clean and weather looks pretty reasonable tomorrow. Will give it a go then

Squid have been quiet out of
Squid have been quiet out of Mindarie for a little while, there a couple of spots that always hold them but I've noticed they are not as willing to attack everything as the past couple of months as they tend to grab the lure but get off quite easily too.
Start at Obstacle Reef and move heaps till you find them as they are always in a pack of two or three, that's what ive found anyway, im sure others have different techniques.

Went on Friday
Went on Friday afternoon. Water was very clear and bottom looked good inshore from Quinns Rocks. 3 onboard, 5 rods total. Only caught 3 in about 3 hours. Weather looking bad for tjhe next week or so, but will try again when the weather settles. Unable to find any info on obstacle reef though ?
Cheers - Eric
