Man stuffed up heaps around rocko. And yet flat as a tack at work. Floods. Trees. Roofs . Cars , windows, and fencing heaps of damage

Yeah, it came through pretty hard here in Wellard too. Downpour and strong winds, got about 10mm in 5 minutes.

Our street also flooded, large hail and big trees torn from ground,or total shredded by the wind.

 Folks were in Shoalwater Bay

Sun, 2018-02-25 16:58

Folks were in Shoalwater Bay and called me to give my opinion on the radar. At 10:128 suggested they tuck into the small bay in bird island. They copped 60's and had to turn on the bulge pump due to the rain. Visibility down to 50m

I was watching it from Fremantle Sailing club. Was a very angry cloud.

Also watched it coming across the sound from work.... glad I was out of the EWP when it hit . Hopefully the guy who was hit on Kent street with the tin is ok, came through pretty quick.

 Rockingham has the nickname

Mon, 2018-02-26 19:31

Rockingham has the nickname of "Tornado Alley". We know first hand what it's like. The last "mini tornado" that came thru a few years ago, tore our roof off. Even lifted the rsj beam.

Huge bill, thank god we had insurance!
