Mixed Bag from today 03/01/11
I took a couple of old mates from my PNG days out today. The day started off with a few whiting
Then we headed out a bit to look for some table fish to get a feed and also so I could start tagging a few fish for research.
First was a nce size BB for Durmo
And a matching set for K9.
After that it shut down for a while until K9 managed a nice dhuie
We mucked about chasing whiting again after that and K9 surprised us all with this whopper of a Gurnard. Beautiful fish, so we let her go.
Whilst I didn't keep a fish, I was kept busy with tagging and releasing several dhuies and blackarse. All in all a great day on the water with some good mates. Beats sitting behind the computer for sure.
