Monitor Size

Just wondering what size monitor (computer screen) most of you use. I've just got a new 24 inch screen and looking at the latest images they come out ridiculously small as they are set to a maximum of 800x600. It would be nice if they could be auto resized to your screen but I don't think that is going to happen. Just wondering if I push the image size upto 1280x1024 is that going to make them too big for people to view the site properly, any comments?

23 inch screen.
Latest images arent too bad but 1024 instead of 800 might be better.
What resolution you running on your monitor as that will also affect it.

I found that once you get over 1280x1024, you tend to browse with multiple windows. My desktop resolution is 2048x1152 amd I run two webbrowser windows, side by side.
I reckon images over 1024x768 just load too slowly and how fragging good a resolution do you need to see pictures of fish in?

currently
have twin 23" monitors, make em whatever size you want. At the new place I'll probably add a 40" plasma as well. Make my seat into a toilet, set up a bar fridge and I'll never need to move. Good times....
