here is a heap more tailor all caught on lures over the last week, they where caught at different spots north of mindarie and most where caught well before sunset. only being going down for less than 30 mins each night just for a quick flick and im sure i could get close to bagging out each night if i wanted.

Nice looking fish Chris
Yes; plenty of them around and they do go for the lures big time. It looks like 50cms is the go at the moment from shore. Give it a month or two and the bigger ones will rock up in the right places. My advice to you goreetie is to go talk to the guys at the shop and get some poppers happening.
Tailor at the moment seem to come on in short bursts. If the poppers stop working I would recommend switching to stick baits or Mulies. The Tailor don't go, they just go down.

Hi Chris... is that Bull
Hi Chris... is that Bull chops that are currently doing the damage?
What size of rod are you using and what's your retrieval technique?

Yeah another month should
Yeah another month should see good numbers of 60+ fish, all these where caught on blusecodes and bullchops.. Retrieve depends, for reay dirty or Realy clear water I have to move it fairly slow with lots of twitches but for foamy clear water fast and big jerks. Either way it normally takes a few casts to figure out what's getting hits, if it's not working just keep changing it up.
Ive caught a fair few more than what's shown here I've just been releasing a few and only taking a few a night for shark baits and the occasional feed when I feel like it.

Cheers guys, yeah cen you
Cheers guys, yeah cen you went and grabbed a rod as I was leaving, any more luck??? That 3rd pic was last Friday arvo before the rain hit, that spot is Realy hit and miss sometimes there there others not just need to swap spots a bit till you find where they are hiding.. Going to have plenty of big shark baits for this coming summer that's for sure!!!
