I have heard in Christmas most off them swim into the ocean and most of them come in to the river from the ocean

August, September starting
August, September starting around Freo, dependent on the fresh. The more fresh the later they'll be. They'll then work their way upstream throughout the warmer months and head out again with the winter fresh. Fishing boat harbour can fire up just after they flush, stopping them can be interesting though.
