i dont like danny, his fights are a joke, fights veteran fighters who were retired or havent had a fight in years. Rigged fights = LAME. Briggs was unfit to fight. NSW refused to hold the fight on those ground.
The punch that knocked him out was a proper punch, but a punch that would not have knocked out a suitably fit opponent. If you look at the slow-mo and watch his head you'll see that Greens punch knocked Briggs, his head jarred, then the punch slid off. Non-slow mo it looked like a glancing blow however.
The investigations done basically said that Briggs was unfit to fight and hid his fitness to fight (but Briggs denies that) but that the blow by Green was a legitimate blow (but again, not one that should have caused a knockout in a suitable opponent).
Not really disagreeing with the other comments though. The fight shouldnt have been held and yep, sport is all about the money (has it not been in recent memory :p)

Before the fight just about every so called expert said danny didnt have a chance, would get shown how to fight , this was his biggest test.Less than 2 mins later excuses were made why he won,jones was past it and shit like that.Get real!! He fought briggs because no one else in australia would fight him.They will bag him out but. And did anyone see his last fight.It was a true test of the boxer he is.What more does he have to do.
