mussels and crabs

ive started finding the mussels and the little black crabs around the canning bridge area. used them and had no luck. i dont think i am putting them on the hook properly. can any1 please shed some light on how to hook them up properly. would be much appreciated

If you want the crabs to stay
If you want the crabs to stay alive for a bit just dab a bit of superglue on their back and glue your hook to their back.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
