My first size pink this morning

OK, so its not really braging size but I targeted these over winter inshore a few times without success (have gotten just undersize dhus and a few KGs tho)but this time I didnt want to head to the regular hunting grounds off scabs out of fear of snaggin a cray pot on the way, so I just headed a few minutes out of the marina to a spot in 7m, dropped the pick and got the burley going. Didnt take long before I got this fella and soon after I pulled the hooks on another. Content with my catch and enough light around I headed out to the 3 mile to sound up some ground and threw the lures out at the same time, sooo many cray pots out there, headed out to the 20s and grabbed some whiting and came in before the seabreeze (and the traffic). No waiting to launch or retrieve, and glad to have a prime parking spot, man the carpark was chockers. Snap n chips for lunch

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Haha Uncle you didnt did you, or are you referring to silly freo supporters that run outa fuel. Left the boy in bed, didnt fancy wakin him at 3am. Although the snapa was a good feed, a plate of whiting or flathead fillets goes down a treat
