milsey - Yeah there all brand

Sat, 2012-05-05 16:13

milsey - Yeah there all brand new, ive only been light jigging once and had a ball

My first light jigging session i landed 3-4 cobia around the 10kg mark then lost my only two 60 gram Jazz bakutyo jigs to freight trains, so i thought since i lost two jigs i better stock up

All of them are my favourites

Nice

Sat, 2012-05-05 17:17

Nice, just brought myself a demersal jigging outfit, ( the new Catalina 4000 and a saltiga  63s ) would of liked the new saltiga 4000 but the Catalina seems very nice for the money, I have a couple of caprice jigs but think I might vitit tackle HQ tomorrow and add to the collection as they have a crazy range. For me I think 20 jigs of varying actions weights and colours should be more than enough but if is anything like my marlin lure collection I'm sure it will keep growing .

Dirt- Sounds like a nice

Sat, 2012-05-05 19:50

Dirt- Sounds like a nice combo, the new catalina's are certainly alot nicer looking than the old ones. Most of my jigs come from overseas as there to expensive to buy locally

Goodz- Yeah they cost me a couple of bucks, i might have to buy some $6 Fanky's incase the pelagics start stealing my expensive jigs

Here is a task

Wed, 2012-05-30 12:44

As I am no jig expert. Appears plackies does a great job on northern targets like Ctrout etc so havent bothered with exxy$$ ones (yet).

So for my help from L-R run through the names if possible.

Cheers

Very kind of you to introduce us Abt your collection. Great brand and costly too...

Looking at about 25 bucks each, you should've invested abt a grand in it.

Including the nice combo ...., must have enjoy your session pretty much.

 No worries tim, I recently

Thu, 2012-05-31 16:00

No worries tim, I recently bought a few FCL after reviewing an american web.

Apperently they are very efficient for Tuna, I mean COW TUNA, my tip top target all the time.

Therefore, bought a few for my next trip to christmas island next year.

Lost a really big one last year on popping, worn off my 150lb leader within a minutes.

Either way, have a look at below web, the blue fin are really big in the eatern state.

 http://jignpopforum.com/topic/357-tuna-jiggingpopping-in-2011/

On top of that, they have Allan Hawk in their forum.

To anyone who know him, he's probably one of the best tackle reviewer or engineer in the market.

Read some of his review between stella and saltiga. top stuff!

I have read a few of Allan Hawk's reviews, i know he says Stella's are a bit better than the Saltiga's but i still own a Saltiga S Extreme

SamC - Yeah the CB ONE jigs have an awesome finish, but i reckon im more addicted to Caprice Kid's
