narrows bridge is looking good yesterday

HEY PEOPLE...so far the narrows r getting better...but heaps of blowies around.... my uncle, dad and I was fishing there last night...no bream bites at all...but we got a run on a decent size mulla....on fresh dead bony herring....it took the run almost from one side of the bridge to the other..which we had a unlucky crossed line with someone elses line...we lost the mulla.....and was a bit mad at that time...we fished till bout 12pm and decided it was time to go home.....we were fishing at the mills point area....and does any 1 knoes where could u buy live baits??boney herring, yellowtail...etc....thats my report for today...and also what are the good mulloway combo to use out there??thinking of something between 8 to 11ft would be good..thanks

Nobody sells live baits, too

Nobody sells live baits, too hard to keep long enough. I suggest you go early and try to catch your own. Mulloway combos can vary considerably. What are you using atm??

Id advise something a little

Id advise something a little shorter so you can play it more. 15 foot isnt really needed as casting distances are not needed either. Id go 9 foot max  but somthing around 7 is ideal in my opinion from shore and shorter if from a boat. I use a 7 foot custom 8 to 10kg with a calcutta 400 running 20lb braid and thats great.......well i havent landed one either from the river so i cant comment too much!lol. Hooked a few and more often than not other people line has lost me good fish as well. They arent even interested in bringing there line in too help you out either! Well i suppose not everyone is happy about you hooking into a fish that they cant get :( Good Luck!

Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

im sorry but that really really pisses me of something rotten i cant stand people that dont have the sense or even the courtesy to reel there line in and anyone fishing around anyone who has something that is taking line then they cant be that stupid as not to think maybe i should reel my line in. no one is that stupid they are just out right rude. it has happend to me a number of times and everytime i feel like throwing them in that is a subject that really gets me going one word sums it up  ASSHOLES
