Need a small Concrete slab laid for shed (mandurah)
Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 2016-09-11 14:04
Anyone know a grano that can lay a slab for me? It's 3.3 x 3.5 100mm thick. No formwork needed, easy access... been getting quotes over $1000 to do the job! Not paying $95sqm for grey conc!

Piece a piss mate....
You think you will fuck it up but have a crack, the stuff doesnt go hard for hours so you have time to work with it ( throw some sugar in it if you are shitting yourself )
Hire a mixer if you have to and get a mate around to give you a hand

I agree and I can do myself
I agree and I can do myself but I've been going nonstop working on this house the last 9 months and for the sake off a couple hundred to pay someone to do the job i think it's worth it. Some things are worth paying someone to do

I'm bored so I thought I
I'm bored so I thought I would throw up some photos of the "garden shed" we have been building. With some of the over the top prices to build a simple shed we decided to do it ourselves, had little johnny lay the slab (awesome job) then basically used patio tubing bolted to the slab for the frame & roof sheets for the outside. Put a 2.5m roller door on the front and a 900mm roller door for the p/a door. As you can see we put a patio off the side for more shade and somewhere else to sit. missus thinks it's a garden shed on steroids with more power points and lighting than the house!
Thanks to everyone who helped out
