New (for me) Boat ID
Hi all,
I bought this boat about 6 months ago, long story short I got it for a good price but needed a lot of work to bring it back up to scratch.
im hoping someone on here may recognise it & have some/any information on it?
From my research I am fairly confident the bottom hull is the same as a Savage Streaker 585, looks to have previously had a pod of some description on it before having a wakemaker pod fitted roughly 5 years ago. Motor is a Johnson (Suzuki) 140hp 4 stroke & sitting on a trailit 2020 trailer.
Upon purchasing the setup, it was registered as a "Crest craft" to which google returns no luck & the engine was also registered as an older Johnson 115hp 2 stroke.
I rang Streaker marine (previously family run business building the boats) & they reckon they never built a centre console version of the 585. The transom on their boats also have an angle outer edge which is different to mine which has a flat transom.
there are a few unknowns, either its had extensive modifications to convert to a centre console which what looks like a complete new top side & the transom has been completely changed from the 585 original design. Or possibly the moulds were shared early on & this is the product some someone's handy & hard work...
the ridge in the side of the hull along with the 3 lifting strakes are all indicative of a streaker 585, which is why I'm leaning toward this being the original design & where it's come from; however if anyone has info on it or knows of previous owners, I would love to get in touch.
let me know what you think

Hull strakes are a bit
Hull strakes are a bit different from the Derben, but the pod is similar.

Hull is similar to a Streaker Tournament (not Savage?)

Savage family name
Hey Mark, yeah that's the hull I'm referring to.
Savage is the surname/family name, early on they were called a Savage Streaker but your correct not the usual Savage hulls that most are used to
streaker 585 came out in a few different series: Longreach, Sports Fisherman & tournament. All were cuddy cab style & just a few different layout options were the difference from what I've found

I am pretty certain that it
I am pretty certain that it is a certre console conversion. You can see the old bulkhead where the helm would have been under the seat.
