Hi Guys,
I have a bit of a dilemma. I have read alot of post on here but thought i would put my own up.
I am after a new reel to run 20lb braid to throw some soft plastics and stick baits from my tinnie inside the reef at coral bay.
I am looking at the following reels, I am not at expert in fishing and any advice would be great.
Stradic Ci4 4000
Rarenium 4000
Daiwa Sol 3000
Stradic FJ 4000

Personally I would go
Personally I would go rarenium out of those, nice and light with a decent drag.

Haven't used them all but I'd
Haven't used them all but I'd take a an fj over a ci4 both mine and my brothers ci4s are starting to play up. The fjs feel a lot smoother and more solid

Yep,
i'd go the Stradic FJ and step up to the 5000 instead of the 4000. Bigger spool (i've got 330m of 20lb Tuffline XP on mine) and upgraded handle knob assembly.
Great reel

Just was in the same
I was also just in the same situation, except the Sustain 4000 (a great reel) was also on my list...
Ended up with the TD Sol II 3000 and haven't looked back!
Absolutely magic reel! Smooth, and heaps of drag!
I use it to cast lures off the beach and rocks down south for salmon and up north for queenies etc. For plastics and light jigging in the shallows on the boat. Even casting metals to thr bubbling tuna schools off the boat. Just so versatile and casts a mile!

Heading up there in June
Heading up there in June myself and taking my stradic fj 5000, got the 5000 over the 4000 purely because of the handle.
