New rod build. Dhuie weave
Submitted by barneyboy on Wed, 2014-11-26 11:16
Just thought I would share a pic of the latest rod I am building with a weave of a Dhuie.
Done in metallic 'A' gold speed tread and Bullard black 'a'.
About 3 hours of tortue actually doing it and 3 hours of set up time.
Will put a pic up of the rest of the rod soon..

Love a personal touch on
Love a personal touch on fishing gear. Any rods I've had built always have a little something personalised, good job there.

Having bound simple fish into
Having bound simple fish into the weave myself I can appreciate the time and effort (and angst) to weave a pattern into the binding like this. That is one helluva job. Great work.
