Coming to SBS on Wednesday night is the first of a three part series on trawlermen in the North Sea.From the trailer it looked to be along the same lines as The Deadliest Catch about crab fishermen off Alaska. May be worth a look

Yes excellent show, we'll be watching tomorrow night
loved the Scottish accents, happy memories of growing up with Mum's side of the family with their Scottish accents.

yep
Saw last weeks teaser, looked interesting how the trips were costing them as much as they were making. Also the sounder footage of hitting the drop off, was pretty awesome.

Och Aye!
Bloody hard work and risk for the chance of little return. I was born in Newcastle -Upon-Tyne and my father was in the Merchant Marines - so learn't a lot about the severity of the North Sea.
Great show, and it finishes just in time for my wife to watch Spics and Specs
Just as well the crew is Scottish and not from Newcastle - otherwise you'd need 100% subtitles - not just occassional ones![Yell Yell](/sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-yell.gif)
