Let me in on the secret Colin
I am desperate to give up smoking and my doctor bashes me up all the time. So much so that I feel guilty going to see him . I need a cure!!!!! Fast!!!!
My wife gave up a couple of years ago and I didn't follow. I am over resolutioning about it... every day I bash myself up about it. This is no longer a habit for me... it's an addiction!!
Cheers, Vince

No Secret Vince
Sorry mate, wished I had a golden secret to share with you, but I don't. All I can say is, you REALLY have to WANT to do it and I'm staying motivated by putting the money I would otherwise spend asside for a new reel. Each day without smoking will get be $$$s closer to that goal!

Thats a much easier way than I did it Colin.
I had to wait till I went in for a Back Fusion and gave up as I couldnt get out of the hospital bed or get to the shops once I was home.

Go and see the quack and try giving champex a go worked for me even over the festive session. Still got to want to quit though it just helps with the cravings. Did a lot of fishing over the chrissy break with my ciggy money??

I found the best way was to have a big big nite out and you pretty much can't face them the next day. I had a big nite out back in 2000 and haven't touched one since.

Mate, I don't need hypnosis. My wife already has enrolled me, and I'm participating in 'avoidance therapy'. The program fundamentals and methodologies are really quite profoundly simple: I'm to avoid cigarettes or my wife bashes me.

Good luck with the cold turkey Colin
You have had plenty of practice chasing chickens, so turkey shouldn't be too hard (Lol).
My resolution is to catch more fish and to share good times with my family and friends.

We should have a bet Col
- i have been building the " in-shed" bathroom for the son's wedding on the 17th and being absolutely no part of a builder's anatomy i am stressed to the max and smoking 50-60 a day which is really great when you are 57, keep the bottleshop at 3 Bears in business and eat lots of steak. I will give kicking it a go after the wedding and all the freeloaders have left.

Your on Ian !
OK! I win LOL
Mate, if ever I heard a GOOD reason to smoke - that would be it.
Weddings are VERY VERY stressful, don't worry about your stress levels yet, they haven't even started. Also, despite ALL the planning SOMETHING will go wrong - you are assurred of that.
Hope that makes you feel better mate
