Nice day out on the water

I finally got out to chase some demersals today. One third of the way through the year and the weather and free time has not matched up. The conditions off Mandurah were near perfect . As always I was totally out fished by my deckie who bagged a nice dhu and the biggest baldie I've seen. Lots of fillets in the freezer equals one happy wife.

very nice .beats the heck out of my sand whiting i got yesterday gotta be happy with that haul . if you dont mind me asking but what depths. the ones we been getting are playing in the 30s

fished 30s for 3hrs off mindaire on the bottom
only too be surrounded by jumping tuna all
day with no trolling or casting gear !! Doh ..

I was going to take the kids out yesterday for a Whiting bash but my oldest woke up crook. Bugger, would of been nice on the water too.
