I literally never use wire
I literally never use wire for macks. 100-120lb mono good to go. Reckon I'd lose 1 lure a year to actual mackie snip offs, the rest is always sharks, which the wire does nothing for anyway.

They better ban dogs swimming at the beach cos they look and smell like seals aka shark bait.

You got that sort on . If more small sharks were taken out of the system for food then down the track there would be less big sharks to worry about. Less sharks = more fish that aren't taken when hooked

They banned shark fishing
They banned shark fishing there years ago. But we don't have a shark fishing ban, just a ban on using wire.
