It's not as easy as it
It's not as easy as it sounds, they have to be made from spring steel and to get them precise and strong is very difficult, from south Africa there under $2 each just shipping takes a while for the cheap shipping but well worth it.
Why would you be using a new one each time??? They last a fair while and if your fishing in the right location you shouldn't be losing any?? Just curious..

Think it was
Think it was rockhustler.co.za but postage is very expensive unless you willing to wait about 2 months for them to get here.

Skirts
Is it worth to put a skirt of any sort on the sliding rig if you have two hooks on it

Not the best quality vid. You should be able to get a length of spring steel stainless for bugger all at a metal supplier

If you can't be bothered
If you can't be bothered waiting a couple of months for them to arrive, the guys at the fishing shop in woodvale have them cheapest I've seen metro and brenz got me into sliding a while ago and is a world of knowledge with the stuff and can point you in the right direction with stuff you need and how to do it.
For me it's not the slides that are the costly bit, every fish I lose a 8-10oz grapnel and there not cheap, slides last ages and I'm even still using some that I've got plenty of sharks on.

Cheapest postage takes a
Cheapest postage takes a very long time from south Africa unlike America, and to get it here faster costs a lot more and makes it not worth it and may as well buy local.

Make your own
Hey mate if you want to make your own, you need a vice, pair of pliars, wire cutters and a pair of round nose. takes about 3-4 mins to make one.
I am back home in a week (perth) if you are interested Pm me and I'll send through some basic instructions.
I make my own castable windon leaders (6 metres 1.35 mm thick) and costs about AUD 1.70 each. you can also make a 6 metre windon steel trace i you are interested. although I prefer the 6 m nylon with a 1m steel trace at the end.
as the man said, its the sinkers that cost the money.
cheers
