Only small stuff

It was a multi species comp so we targetted the high points scoring species for most of the day as the winds were too strong to venture out wide.

This was the only one we took a pic of. Tim's post with the full results will show you how tough it was out there for everyone.

I went out with only 1 bung

Sun, 2008-04-27 17:30

Thanks Andy

That is he only pic I have of the tub in the water!

I went out with only 1 bung in the boat as well. Had to do without a bilge bung, so had water in the boat for most of the day. I normally leave the bungs in the transom well, can't figure why all of them are missing. Why would anyone want bungs?

We had a temporary power outage

Sun, 2008-04-27 19:40

11 miles out and nobody in sight. Rough as guts and everything went dead. No radio, no sounder, no GPS.Surprised
We all looked at eachother after me telling the guys how I hate the first trip out after a service, as something always goes wrong.Yell
Thankfully it was a fuse from one battery, so switching to the next battery we had power again. Obvioulsyt I didn't turn the engine off after that.Wink
So yes Colin, very eventful!!!!

Update on the power outage

Tue, 2008-04-29 12:16

A quick inspection by my friendly neighbourhood electrician and it seems it was a loose terminal on battery 1. A quick tighten and up she goes again to full power with both batteries..... Phew!!!
That's one more thing to check if something like that happens again.Cool
