Went down to the north mole from 6;20-7;40, casting twistys for Bonito and tailor, had two hits, none landed. Saw a smalll whiting landed, and the slimey/scalie/yellowtail baitfish sizes 10cm-20cm max were also around, helped a guy land a 80cm+ blacktip shark, bit through the hooks while i grabbed it by the tail and almost bit me so i dropeed it, went down the cracks and swam away :)
1 guy also has a big run on his 12ft rod, bit through his wire.
other than that just the usual buckets full of undersized whiting, skippy etc.

which side of the mole do you
which side of the mole do you normally chuck twistys from? Ive had a little bit of luck on the left hand side as you look at it but nothings ever a decent size. I like the idea of fishing the right hand side but its always hella windy and rough.
Im sure the bonito will pick up soon though buddy
