Northern Tailor

Went out for a quick fish tonight and ended up with six good size Tailor. Ranging from 400mm-460mm.
They were on fire and still biting when I left.
all caught from Quinns Beach. This place has always been great for Tailor and Mullas.

I always use a paternoster rig on the beach for one rod and a sliding ball sinker on another rod for Mullas.

Turning into a moonie?
I bet my ex missus house on , that you got them between 5 and 7 excastly, not a moment before or after?
We went to loonies, ( still quite weedy on strong winds) like yesterdays strong westerly , and as I have been this tailor season, planned my fishing around the
solunar times, and so far I would say I am getting at least a 60/40 strike rate, in my favor.
It does seem odd sometimes , starting to fish at say 2.00pm for tailor, cause the chart says 2.30pm feeding time,
but it does work ( sometimes!)
Hit the water about 4.15 yesterday for a 5.00pm feeding time , landed my first of 3 at 5.08pm.
Are you a tidey or a moonie ?
