Very nice John. Good tusk on that one. If their are officers on the site, hope the can separate business from pleasure, too use this forum to do their research or gauge the mood of the fishing public and not be open about it would be piss weak!

Nice lot of Tucker there.
Nice lot of Tucker there. Getting your own meat would be better than buying it , at least you know what's been done to it.
As far as fish pics go I will keep on doing it . I know I'm not doing anything wrong so I don't need to worry . Now I have the boat up here in hoping to get amongst some different species to what I have been getting

West Australian
Have a look at the front page of the West today. Our entire outdoor lifestyle is under attack by pathetic unbelievably biased media.
There won't be anything left shortly and still as a group we do swa about it. Unbelievable.

I don't own any guns but I agree with you Gav. Heard a couple of club shooters (.22) who made some very valid points about target shooting. I do however think a gun amnesty is a good idea as it gets unused/unwanted guns out of circulation voluntarily.

The govt has a big australia
The govt has a big australia vision.
More people lots of immigrants to expand roll out of more bunnings macca stores etc.
Water fuel land and fish has now to be shared among more people as these resources are limited.
In more populated nations people live in apartments and have days out in shopping centres.
We are slowly transitioning via housing affordability and rising competition for scarce resources to a similar lifestyle.
There of course will be winners and losers and you may be starting ti experience this now

Yeah I heard on radio
About firearms coming under the micro scope again. Apparently heaps of people got them when COVID hit ? Now days I believe all you have to do to get firearms is pay gun shop for letters . Before you had to have three letters from property owners . Maybe everyone worried about turning into zombies after there needles .

Actually the figures show NO additional licence holders
Has been virtually static for the last three years BUT those with licences have purchased additional firearms. A very good friend is in the firearms unit and even he struggled to get a hand gun licence.....had to be an active member of a gun club for six months before being considered. He doesn't understand the sudden focus so go figure

Spoke to a mate who is an
Spoke to a mate who is an avid hunter and a former state champion. He said this issue raises its head from time to time and respective governments always try to crack down. Apparently there's a lot of hype and misinformation in the media, which sounds pretty normal. I think our laws are still very tight so saying crap like "we don't want to end up like America" is absurd!

For all the sensible, lawful
For all the sensible, lawful gun owners I hope any changes are reasonable, although there is no precendent to say that's likely. We really are over-governed in this state and country. Makes me wonder what kind of world my kids and future grandkids have to look forward to.

Massive gun legislation
Massive gun legislation reform act coming - pushed by mark mcgowen
jeez fishing limits and now
part of press release
On March 22 the Premier, Hon. Mark McGowan MLA together with the Minister for Police Hon. Paul Papalia CSC MLA and WA Police Force Commissioner Chris DAWSON announced the largest reform to firearm legislation in recent history. Apart from amendments following the mass shooting incident at Port Arthur in 1996 the Act has remained largely the same since its enactment and given the rapid changes within the global firearm industry and community it is important that Western Australia has a contemporary and future proofed legislation and licensing regime.
we have like "no serious crime" gun deaths compared to overeast, we have the strictest gun laws in australia in this state
we have the highest licence fee of any state or territory 10 times more than some states and territories for an add on
when u outlaw guns only outlaws will have guns, for me a gun is no different than a fishing rod- except how i store it
u already need to have a charachter and police clearance check to get a licence
we need a geniune reason to have a gun
we not allowed any semi autos or hi capacitry magazines
what more do they want
hard time to be light of skin, have a danglin bit between the leg and enjoy feeding your family own butchered proteins

100 percent right
In what your saying . Had a mate got his house targeted . ( few years ago) Totally smashed 2 walls to remove His safe . Better of cutting concrete and submerging ( gun safe or wills or anything of value underground ) almost $90 bucks now license . Use to be $28 to $32 dollars. Harder the rules . Harder they want them . Bunny bash next week . There numbers picking up again . Rabbit / mushroom / onion stew . Hard to beat
