not fishing related, but political related at church

i was at church tonight for my fathers memorial mass for his 3rd year anniversary with my family and friends doing my part on behalf of my mother.when  mass had ended i discovered a certain political party ,the right to life party of western australia put flyers on every vehicle ,in the carpark, which i found very offensive,i called the after hours number, and the secretatary denied this,i told her it was rude to do political advertising in a church carpark, which in my opinion is a sacred place that should be free of political motives, not nice of that party, they deffinately wont get a vote by my family or friendsFrown

Its actually illegal to put

Its actually illegal to put crap under car windscreens, most councils view it as littering. Just ring the council and curb their ill form.

so... you attended a church service... and then found offence that a political party (context : there's a political election tomorrow) that defends the rights of the unborn was canvassing....

not the point drew, right to life people attack some1 character

Sat, 2010-08-21 06:40

ok drew you think you wouldnt be offended regardless of a political party spreading propaganda at a church service, the rights to life people who are against julia because she aint married, how is that defending the rights of the unborn, work that 1 drew,as you and all of us know alot  of us  aint married before we have kids,so the rights to life have no right attacking some1 who aint married,as far as im concerned in this day and age woman and their partner should have the right to choose what they want.

It was not that i found it strange drew, i found it offensive, a church is  sacrad place, yes their is a election today, but people have well and truly made up thier minds by now.  What these people did was just tacky.

As far as right to life, every woman and man have a choice, abortion is there for a reason, no god does not approve, but  am all for defending the rights of the unborn, but you must see there are circumstances in all laws such as what if you got raped by a family member, or just raped, these are the reasons for abortion being legal, not as a use for bith control. to sum it all up the right to life party, should not attack some ones character because they aint married

Joe I would have

found it offence, as just losing my mother last Monday and I can tell you if I found any political phamplets on my car window in a church yard I'd be really and truly peeved off.  These right to lifers have not walked in my shoes, watching my adult son die from cancer, to see me, his siblings, wife and little baby daughter suffer because we couldn't end his suffering quickly instead of him suffering for over a week.  I also agree that abortion should be legal when a child/women is raped or terrible deformed feotus under three months, animals will abort or turn the new born away, we as intellegent humans don't, God gave us a brain to discover and invent, he didn't give us a brain to watch our loved ones suffer, sorry I'll get off my soap boax now.

Dont make some fickle decision on a flyer on a windscreen.

Id be slightly cheesed too but when you tick those boxes your agreeing with that party's policies.

And roberta???? um if it was 1940, Hitler would have you "Head of th SS"!!

Do you realize its legal in Vic to have a full term abortion.. yes it is, please check. Pregnacies can be terminated for any reason too. The majority are things like cleft pallot and minor deformaties... I have a mate who was born like that, Hes great!! Bugger slipped through the web aye???

Doctors can be charged with criminal offences if they wont refer a patient for abortion. Conscience is to be left competly out. Yes its a womans right... well why cant i kill,, sorry "terminate' a heathy baby??

And the list goes on..

Ive been doing a little reading thats all and am shocked at what is bocoming the Law.
