Ocea Jiggers seem the Jigging rage

Can someone explain to me why. I have no jigging outfit, and moving back to Mandurah full time. That means thinking off it.
But I have never even looked at one but everyone (almost) raves about it.

jigging
yeah I know what you mean, every body is doing it, this jigging thing is just another method of catching fish, I prefer not using bait myself.

The smallest ocea jigger (at
The smallest ocea jigger (at least when I got mine) was a pg1500NR, I run it with PE3 and it has a Lot more balls than a Stella 5000 in terms of cranking power. Drag is a bit weak, but upgrade to carbontex fixed that. This size is pe3, way too powerful for pe2. A 4000 shimano size spin reel is preferable for pe2.. Hard to get light jigs to pull line off the overhead spool on pe2, hence spin better.
Boston Whaler 235 Conquest......getting the flogging it was built for.
