Just been into Oceanside and bought a heap of gear. Thanks Blake (Hope I remembered your name right) for the expert help and info.As a beginner trying to get into the jigging game it was the info i needed to get started. Being from old school of bait and mono I feel like a young kid again with his first rod. The service is what I was after in there and didn't mind paying but still got a good discount anyway.The shop is out of my way but I will go there to get get my specialist fishing gear in the future.Keep it up guys. Maybe you should open a branch in Vic Park ;)

I too have nothing but good things about say about Oceanside, living up in Port Hedland it's hard to get the type of gear i want, but a pm to the boys at Oceanside and they help me out everytime.
Keep up the good work boys and i hope to meet you guys in person one day.

I bought my
first reel, an Alvey at oceanside back in 95. Ryan didnt own it back then but the previous owner had the same standards when it came to service, since finding this site the FW discont is always a bonus too.

Mike, Ryan & I are always more than happy to help out anyone that has any questions, The good thing about smaller tackle stores is that the staff/Owner usually fish. In Oceansides case we fish nearly everyday we off haha. This gives us the opportunity to have hands on experience with the products we sell. As Yewie mentioned we are more than happy to post goods all around the country aswell. Thanks for dropping past Andy and im sure you will start to nail some fish on jigs soon enough.

Cheers for the occy on Friday Blake, outfished squid, mulie, jigs and plastics. I've not really bothered with it much in the past but saw the picture earlier in the week and thought 'why not'. Glad I did quality bait, but any tips for getting the skin off while fishing 30KM out in a choppy North easterly would be appreciated !!!!
