One Mile Jetty Carnarvon

Just recently come back from a trip up to Carnarvon.
Long story short we didnt get to troll for spaniards and bottom fish the deep due to the insanely windy conditions.
Were lucky to save face with an extremely fun time fighting an abundance of Mulloway in the 10 - 15kg range at the 1 mile jetty.
Sorry about the phone camera quality.
Didnt catch any from the jetty itself... (we definetely tried) just the usual tailor, shark mackeral, bream etc from the planks.
All were caught anchored up around the end of the jetty.
Thanks to the guys at the tackle shack for getting us onto our first mulloway.
Ended up landing 4 or so each. lol good times.

Hard to beat the jetty there for some landbased mulloway action.

Good fish you got there mate, hopefully you enjoyed yourself at Pely Point... The wind starts to blow up there the end of August I think.

nice couple of mullas there.
nice couple of mullas there. even tho you couldnt go after the other stuff off shore you still managed to get a couple of great fish. well done, worth the effort

The Jetty
It's a shame the jetty is closed half way down last time I was there in May... Does any one know if there is plans to repair and re-open???

Its open down as far as the shed. They are doing major repairs on the end section that got in to disrepair while they fixed the burnt out section.
