Out from rocko boxing day

As I came home for Xmas we decided to head out from Rocko to hit the deeper water trying out our new simrad sounder with the 1kw tranny . Very impressed so far , even reading ground sitting on 30 knots . As we hadn't fished out from. There for at least 10 years and had lost all our spots we were flying blind. Headed out to the 90s . We found the fish , well some anyway. Nothing huge but they are tasty . Sandy got the legal size pinky after 3 under size ones. 3 of us out and we all bagged out .

Yeah LJ , had to poach someone else's areas. Fished out there for years ..

Was a good day out there Moking.  Surprised there wasn't more out there. Didn't get to the ramp til about 9 and not many out there at t hat stage. Cruised back in sitting on 25 to 30 knots from 20nm out. Couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise
