Out of sight, out of mind - East freo shark fishing ban proposal

FYI especially for those who fish for sharks around East Freo, the council is proposing to ban it. I don't fish for sharks but feel its a wasted opportunity to actually obtain some info about these fish via recreational tagging.

Particularly when they tried to catch and failed
Blindingly obvious if they want info on bull sharks then encourage amateurs to catch, record, tag and release .......guarantee us fishos will catch more than Fisheries who failed miserably

I know a guy who fishes the upper reaches of the Swan around Guilford for Bulls Gordon, does quite well too. Catch and release, he's also a Mulloway guru as well.

Lots around Burswood
I am actually quite surprised there haven't been more bull shark attacks in the Swan........absence of the old prawn drag netters probably the reason there hasn't been .....those were the days for those that remember that far back

And as I was tall I always got the deep end
It's all ok until you step in a hole and yes those jump out of your skin moments as something brushes past you leg
