Overhead reel

G'day all.
I need some advice. I have a torium 30 series loaded with 300m 30pd mono .55 diameter. I'm looking for a overhead land base reel that can at least take 400+m line loaded with 30pd .55 diameter line.
Any suggestions
Happy fishing

Use braid backing and
Use braid backing and 100-150m of mono topshot depending in how far you can cast. Should increase your capacity to at least 500m

I have a torium 30 with 300m
I have a torium 30 with 300m of 50lb braid backing and filled to the top with 15kg pre test. Don't need 50lb backing if only using such a light topshot but It was free.. no use wasting it. Hasn't been much I haven't been able to land yet with the exception of large sharks. Been a faultless reel for about a year now. Best reel purchase I have ever made

As every one has said already use braid as backing iv got 600m 50lb braid and roughly 180m of top shot .50 , iv been done to the drum a few times . u should easly be getting 450m of .55 on the reel if not more , i got 550m of .50 on my reel before going to brad as backing

Torium 50
Have a look at the torium 50 , they hold lots of line but they are a bit harder to cast than the 30 size.
But as ragbag said braid is the way to go. I have 2 trinidad 30 with 600m of 50lb berkly whiplash + +-130m of 0.50 mono and they are the same size as your torium 30.
