A PB Pinky !
Submitted by The Saint on Sun, 2020-10-11 09:52
Went out for a demersal bash on Friday with Mrs and grandson. The night before, young Jye made it quite clear that a decent pinky was his target for the day.
Set him up on the Alvey winch, he loves using that as it allows him to fish pretty much unassisted.
He not only nailed his pinky, but at 68cm it beat his previous PB of 66cm (and that was his first ever when he was 5).
A very keen young fisho !

Well done to the youngster.
Well done to the youngster. Even on the winch it would have pulled hard. Good to see the kids getting amongst the fish and enjoying themselves out there

It's real nice to see pictures of the young'uns who haven't got there face stuck onto a flat screen and know what being close and at peace with nature is about and the joys it can provide you

Again, thanks all for your positive comments.
Its really is great to see the young bloke so keen on his fishing.
My boys fish occasionally, although are not really "fishos", whereas the young grandson is already "hard core".
He's counting down the days until Nan and Pop take him to Shark Bay next year ............
