Peaceful Bay LB

Hey folks,

Going to be heading down that way on the 12th / 13th March for a weekend. Just a quick break.

Had a bit of a read of previous posts on the area - seems to be a bit of info but lots of off-shore. Any LB advice? I'll probably have a fish at Conspicuous to see if any Salmon are on the go - but I'd really like to target flathead / bream on light tackle while I am down that way.

Cheers,

Rob

Heres a map of the back of Peaceful bay, if your a half decent 4wd'er you can get out to diamond and kingy rock and plenty of other spots.  Well worth the mission, just make sure you've got low tyres on the sand dune, plenty of exploring to do and some good fishing spots.

Very windy down there right

Very windy down there right now, hopefully it will drop off.

There were a few salmon hanging around the rocks at conspicous on saturday. It was hard to see if there were more around because of the swell.

hit blue holes

Hit the blue holes, bellange beach and have a crack for the salmon. If you walk right when facing the ocean at conspicuous we have caught snapper and skipps off the rocks there.

Thanks all the for advice. Poida - I know the rocks you mean. I was there last winter but with the big swell only a mad man would have got on those rocks. It should be perfect now though for a fish!

Hopefully I can break my popper duck!

personal messages

Wed, 2010-03-03 13:24

Just a quick question. do you think that when telling a person a certain spot to fish that'd it be better to send them a personal message instead of telling every dick and Harry about that spot?? alot of these spots mentioned to everyone are under fished and the more known means it'll become a spot over fished. I just don't get it.

p.s- no trouble people telling others but I believe Personal messages are best.

cheers,
Higgo
