I see a new series of Penn Internationals are about to be released, the new Penn International VI.

They look good however I must confess to being a Shimano fan.

Same thoughts. I had both but slowly swapped out to all tiagras for my gamefishing overheads. Now slowly swapping my smaller line class stuff to talicas. Shimano has that part of the market pretty sewn up
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Nothing like the sound of the 50VSW getting a good workout
24kg is the biggest I have so cant speak for the 37kg stuff.
We are pretty lucky in this day n age with whats available

Fin-Nor make some good stuff
A very old brand, and their new stuff is good. I have a Marquesa MA30T, single speed, beautiful reel to use. Makes the Tiagra 12 feel clunky. We upped the ante recently and bought a Talica 25 /2, now to find something worthy of it.
