hi guys I'm looking at buying a new surf rod and am going to get a prevail in looking at the 12 foot 12 to 20kg or the 13 foot 10 to 15kg but I'm wondering which one to go the 12 foot feels really stiff and the 13foot feels flimsy has any one used the this is just for bait fishing I have a 9foot for lure. Mostly I'm going for tailor mullaway and anything other things that may come my way I'm going up north and may use it to try ballooning but that won't happen often thanks you any help

I've got the 12-20kg spin
I've got the 12-20kg spin and use it for most of my heavier bait fishing. Also got the 15-24kg OH 12ft that I used for ballooning up at Wagoe over Easter, handled that fine as well, love my prevails

Use it for everything from
Use it for everything from tailor to sharks, sensitive enough that you can feel pickers on the bait but with heaps of power when you need it, run a spin fisher 9500ssv on mine loaded with 15kg mono

I have the 12' 20kg model
I have the 12' 20kg model and love it. It's not a broom stick with plenty of sensitivity, casts a brick a mile. Since buying it 2 mates have bought one.
