peppermint beach crays questions

 hey guys

since the whites have started to run metro i am wondering when the best time to go for a dive for them around peppermint beach and stratham would be ??

i know that it is pretty much the furthest south that they run and i have dived spots around there before but not for whites. i was thinking next weekend but due to the a full moon i wasnt sure if they will be around or will it be another month before they come in shallow

if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated

Thanks, Nathan

Try anytime now Nathan, crays are good around Peppy and back towards Bunbury.

Still reds

Hey bud I live in stratham and as of a few days ago they are all still reds along this stretch and the water at the moment is fairly dirty

The last lot I got had that very thin second shell so they will be whites any day now

Cant wait !!!!

Ktreloar didnt receive any PM

for anyone who is interested, went for a shore free dive on saturday just gone, south of stratham, didnt get any size but half a dozen kakkas, but there was a bit of time wasting searching for suitable ground

talking to a couple of potters in the area, they were having no luck in close around the inshore reefs
